The hotel is beautiful. Reception staff were welcoming and we was able to drop our bags before we checked in. We were booked into an executive room which meant we had our own lift which was lovely. The room itself was amazing. It had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and very comfy. We each had a bedside table with lights, a wardrobe , iron and ironing board. Coffee/kettle (no English breakfast tea however we got some from the shop) we had milk and sugar. A mini fridge which included 2 waters & 2 fizzy drinks which were complimentary. Lovely desk area to get ready. We had a TV at the end of the bed but we didn't use it. 2 very comfy chairs within the bay window to relax. The bathroom was huge. A shower and a separate bath. Sink with a large mirror. Hairdryer and lovely shampoo, shower gel and hand wash. Plenty of towels and these were changed daily if you requested. Downstairs in reception they had a mini shop available. This included drinks (soft & alcohol) any little items you may have forgotten and also snacks. The hotel does have a bar and restraunt area however we didn't use it. They also have a gorgeous outdoor seating area which is heated. The location for us was great. We have stayed in De Pijp so are familiar with being out of the main area of Amsterdam. Nice walk to Albert Cuyp Market. Also 10 minute walk to the number 2 tram which takes you straight to Amsterdam Centraal and Dam Square. (Around 15 minute journey) Lovely little area with lots of little shops and restaurants to explore if you wasn't going to spend your whole trip in Amsterdam Centre. Would recommend the hotel and we would definitely stay again

My friend and I loved our stay at Bilderberg Garden. Firstly, we arrived early and were greeted with smiles at the desk and told they had a room available for us to occupy. That was great so we did not need to leave our luggage or wait for a room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable mode. Our room and bathroom was exceptionally clean and functional. I loved the large walk in shower. The rooms equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, safe and robes and slippers. we were pleasantly surprised to find a very large selection of both American and European for breakfast foods. We had asked for two beds - the room had a king-sized bed that had been split into two separate beds - this worked fine although I would have preferred 2 full sized beds but this is the usual for European room as I understand. The front desk help were great in assisting us with directions, making reservations for dinner locally, and helping us with our bags when needed. I would highly recommend this area as well if you are looking for a more residential and beautiful area that is walking distance to small cafe's and shops.

Don’t go by the outward appearance of the hotel. My initial reaction looking at the hotel from outside was that of disappointment - I felt the price did not match the look outside. But as soon as we went inside , the staff was helpful and friendly . What all did we like 1. We were given early check in ( checked in around 10 10:30am ). We did not even ask. We had asked if we can store our luggage but since our room was available , we were given the key and that was a relief. 2. The room we got was spacious and very well maintained. Good toiletries. Super comfortable bed 3. We did not opt for breakfast so cannot tell you how it was 4. You can rent cycles from them - it’s 18 euros for the whole day. The cycles are super comfortable and right outside the hotel 5. Location - it was 10 mins to Van Gogh and rinks museum . It takes about 35 mins to get to Amsterdam Centraal but the hotel is well connected by tram

Attention to detail was very good, staff were very friendly and ammeniable. I requested a surprise for my partner in our hotel room as I was planning to propose to her that evening and it was a lovely surprise when we returned! We also had the breakfast with our stay, a fantastic range of local foods and continental selections too, everything was to perfection. In a really lovely quiet neighbourhood, away from the hustle and bustle, with great transport links to all parts of the city just down the road.

I stayed at the Bilderberg Garden Hotel Amsterdam a number of times between 2010 and 2019, and this was my first visit back since the pandemic. The hotel remains excellent, with clean, quiet, and well-appointed rooms. It is located in a very relaxed and beautiful part of Amsterdam and pleasant walk to Museumplein, Vondelpark, and PC Hooftstraat.
